Should I be Worried?

Ok-so Tia asked for a microphone for Christmas. Not just any mic but one with a stand. Just what we needed right?-a way to amplify Tia's voice. Thank you Santa for making that possible. I have now sat through about a hundred shows-sometimes forcefully. I can remember making my parents sit through shows similar to Tias. Back then I thought they were great and that my parents loved-no craved them. I now know the truth! Ok- but seriously I do love her shows. They make my days brighter and our home louder (which can be a good thing). My favorite is when she introduces herself because this is how it goes- she leans into the mic (that she has hidden around the corner) and says, "Ladies and gentlemen, Boys and Girls-are you ready for the show?" She then presses the applause button conveniently located on the mic at which time she makes her grand entrance. I have one question-Should I be worried?

Great Falls Park

Saturday we went to a beautiful place called Great Falls Park. The bright orange and red trees were breathtaking. We loved being out in nature- we are so blessed to live in such a pretty area. It was also neat to read about the history of where we were. In the mid 1700's, seeking a route to link the eastern seaboard with lands being settled in the Ohio valley, George Washington and other delegates solidified a plan to develop a system of canals on the Potomac allowing navigation. So they removed some of the rocks and constructed canals-ok so you might be bored now. But it is interesting when you are actually standing in the actual place it happened.
Halloween

Halloween was a VERY exciting time for Tia. She got to wear her custom to the church party on Saturday, Scott's work party on Sunday, and Halloween night.
She is loving the candy-probably a little too much. She surprised us all when she bypassed all the girly pink princess customs and chose a dragon instead.
Thanks to Farrah's craftiness Owen was an adorable lobster. He got a lot of oos and ahhs. Can't you see why? He was so tired at the ward party he actually fell asleep in my arms. Something he NEVER does.

Sweet Owen

Owen is such a cutie! So much fun. He has grown out of his infant stage and his personality is starting to come through. He always has a smile to give and it doesn't take a lot to get him to giggle. He is always moving (no he can't crawl) but he can move a couple feet by scooting and he pratcically dives out of our arms while reaching for anything in sight. His first tooth is a third of the way in and we are sad that he will soon lose his gummy grin.
Tia haming it up for the camera

As you can see, it is near to impossible to get a normal picture of Tia. As soon as the camera comes out she has her arms out and her goofiest face waiting! Every picture I have of her alone looks like these. But I have come to accept it and cherish it because a picture tells all- and as you can see Tia is quite the character. She always makes me smile!
